We have an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Administrator to join a school.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the school administrative processes and providing support to staff, students, and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Printing timetables and various documents for both staff and students.
- Making phone calls to parents/guardians regarding student affairs.
- (If DBS checked) Collecting students from lessons when necessary.
- (If DBS checked) Delivering messages to students as required.
- Assisting with filing and scanning documents to maintain an organized administrative system.
- Providing general administrative support and taking up tasks assigned by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
- Monitoring student requests to use the toilet and guiding them appropriately.
- Directing students to the first aid facilities, if needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Confidence in making phone calls and interacting professionally with parents/guardians.
- Previous experience in administration or a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with document printing, scanning, and email communication.
Working Hours: This is a Monday to Friday role, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
£11.98 – £12.59/hr
