Event Co-Ordinator for The Royal International Air Tattoo

This is a great opportunity to work for The Royal International Air Tattoo. Must be able to work 15/16/17th July but room and food provided! This role starts ASAP until end July

The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises’ purpose is:

  • To raise funds and help deliver the Trust’s objectives of Promote, Support and Encourage.

The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises’ mission is:

  • To bring aviation & STEAM to life through live or virtual experiences and deliver unique engagement opportunities.




  • To work closely with the Head of Hospitality in planning and managing the delivery process of all corporate hospitality chalets at RIAT, liaising directly with sponsors and contractors as directed on their individual requirements e.g. ordering furniture, florals, catering, bespoke builds, AV kit etc
  • To support the overall Department  to deliver a successful RIAT 2022
  • Support with the co-ordination of a team of 30 volunteers in advance and during the show
  • To co-ordinate and administer the pass process and security arrangements for all contractors and sponsors
  • Provide a seamless client experience, ensuring a superior level of customer service is met at all times
  • To take an active role in administering all post show chalet invoicing.  Support the tracking of all spend against budget and providing accurate forecasting to the Head of Hospitality on a monthly basis.



Education and Experience

  • Admin related roles
  • Hospitality sector (desirable)
  • Project management/coordination (desirable)



  • Microsoft Suite (Office 365 incl. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)



  • Organised
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Pleasant and confident telephone manner


  • Ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands/prioritse tasks
